In my humble opinion, The BLIMP are THE BEST BAND IN GLASGOW, which, by a process of simple logic, makes them THE BEST BAND IN THE UK, and possibly THE GREATEST BAND IN THE UNIVERSE ! ?
WHY DO I RATE THE BLIMP SO HIGHLY ?They Rock, They Are Funny, They Are Original, They Are Tight, AND THEY PLAY FROM THE F***ING HEART ! (to misquote Bill Hicks!)
Songs such as JUMPING THROUGH THE PARK (at night), THE SHANGHAI (aka Evil Popeye), GO WITH THE SPEED OF MANY BUFFALO and RIZLA are instant classics.
Damn Fine On CDs "SQUARE GO" and "THE CORE SESSIONS", THE BLIMP are best served live, with a cocktail of Electric Soup, laced wi' Diamond White !
