To do this, and to hear a band that remind me of X-Ray Spex, The Rezillos, The Breeders, Hazel O'Connor and even my hero, Patti Smith...(Listen to "Ruby Rewind"...the slow part,...then anything off "Easter"), YOU must GO TO MYSPACE...GO ON ! NOW ! and LISTEN ! A Two Piece Band That Can Rock (Hey, if The White Stripes can do it...!)

CHERRY'S GEMSTONES is really all about Cherry herself....She Can play, her influences are impeccable, and she has other creative outlets, such as the more ambient TWIN PEEKS group, and a ROCKY HORROR ROCKESTRA (that I HAVE to see !) If The Rocky Horror Picture Show taught us one thing, it's "DON'T DREAM IT, BE IT !", and Cherry appears to have followed that command !

Just LISTEN TO THAT VOICE ! ! That's what did it for me. Like The First Time I Heard Poly Styrene sing "Oh Bondage! Up Yours!" many years ago... The hairs stood up on the back of my neck when I heard RUBY REWIND and NEON GLOW. The songs are sung, and played with the essential feeling and attitude ! You have to respect that !

And you can't help noticing CHERRY LOOKS GREAT ! Great Clothes ! Great Make Up, A Great Hat & A FANTASTIC PAIR OF....

COWBOY BOOTS !

Drummer Chippi may or may not (The saga is hard to follow) have been replaced...

...with the fabulous looking drummer above (Greta ?)
